- Lead the GovInsights roadmap in collaboration with the development team leader
- Synthesize research and guide the product team towards solutions for revenue management, permits, licensing, and tax administration to advance our platform architecture and enhance our market and business value
- Mentor Product Managers in communication, leadership, strategy, and execution
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to Product Managers to enhance their skills
- Ensure Product Managers validate and track activities according to our product principles to meet KPIs
- Assist Product Managers in making effective decisions when prioritizing research and development to ensure upcoming releases include relevant enhancements for customers, users, prospects, and the company
- Participate in customer and partner visits to generate ideas for new features
- Ensure Product Managers have a solid grasp of the market for their respective categories and ensure the accuracy and validity of market data
- Keep relevant teams updated on our roadmap and evangelize our direction
- Prioritize, develop, and evaluate business cases for new opportunities within the product organization and for the executive team
- Understand and analyze the market, competition, and upcoming solutions in the team's responsible area
- Review release announcements to ensure focus on user issues
- Facilitate connections between the groups driven by Product Managers to ensure a cohesive user experience
- Identify collaboration opportunities between teams and assist in making decisions optimal for the company
- Lead Product Operations to facilitate efficient and iterative product development
- Perform any other assigned duties
- Over 7 years of B2B product management leadership in a scaled business with M&A integrations
- More than 10 years of experience in management, leadership, and coaching, with strong public speaking and communication skills
- Expertise in developing analytics solutions and delivering them to a slow-to-adopt customer base
- Technical background in building data warehouse, data schemas, and data visualizations
- Experience with on-prem and legacy technologies and migrations
- Government or civic sector experience is advantageous
- MBA or business undergraduate studies are a plus
- Creative thinking and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and project management skills to lead cross-functional projects, multitask, and set priorities within deadlines
- Understanding of mathematical/statistical principles related to P&L, pricing, and margin
- Effective communicator with the ability to explain concepts clearly across all organizational levels
- Proficient in advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with agile methodology and experience in implementing agile approaches at an enterprise level
- Ability to work with a UX team and incorporate UX principles within a product team
- Ability to remain stationary for most of the day
- Regular operation of computers and other office machinery
- Occasional movement within the office space
- Frequent communication via telephone
