    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    As a crucial player in the team, you will be responsible for leading the development of the GovInsights platform, driving innovation in shared services and product features across our SaaS solutions and beyond. Your main focus will be on enhancing analytics capabilities and products to set us apart from the competition. You will play a key role in managing product operations, contributing to engineering management, and supporting product development for new, existing, and transitioning products.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead the GovInsights roadmap in collaboration with the development leader of the group.
    • Guide the product team in exploring solutions for revenue management, permits and licensing, and tax administration to advance our platform architecture and increase our market value.
    • Mentor Product Managers in communication, leadership, strategy, and execution.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to Product Managers to enhance their skills.
    • Ensure Product Managers align activities with our product principles to meet KPIs.
    • Assist product managers in making informed decisions on research and development priorities for customer satisfaction.
    • Participate in customer and partner visits to generate ideas for new features.
    • Ensure Product Managers have a solid grasp of their market categories and accurate market data.
    • Keep stakeholders informed about our roadmap and evangelize our direction.
    • Evaluate business cases for new opportunities and prioritize projects within the product organization.
    • Stay updated on market trends and upcoming solutions in their team's domain.
    • Review release announcements to ensure they address user needs.
    • Foster collaboration between teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
    • Identify collaboration opportunities and facilitate optimal decision-making.
    • Lead Product Operations to streamline product development processes.

    Education and Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in B2B product management leadership, particularly in a scaled business with M&A integrations.
    • Over 10 years of management, leadership, and coaching experience with strong communication skills.
    • Specialization in building analytics solutions for diverse customer bases.
    • Technical background in data warehouse, data schemas, and data visualizations.
    • Experience with on-premises and legacy technologies and migrations.
    • Prior government or civic sector experience is advantageous.
    • MBA or undergraduate business coursework is a plus.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with innovative thinking.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
    • Understanding of mathematical and statistical principles related to P&L, pricing, and margin.
    • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
    • Clear and credible communication abilities across all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies and relevant tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Aha, or Figma.
    • Experience working with UX teams and implementing UX principles in product development.

    Work Environment:

    • The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, situated in an office setting with individual workstations.

    Physical Demands:

    • The role requires remaining in a stationary position for most of the day.
    • Frequent operation of a computer and other office machinery.
    • Occasional movement within the office and regular communication via telephone.
