Job Summary


Responsible for the development, implementation and successful management of all Employment Services including but not limited to group supported employment, individual supported employment, employment-related grants, school-to work transition services, Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), and direct labor employees with a disability working on AbilityOne contracts.

Responsible for the planning and implementation of Long Term and Community Integration Services (LTCIS) with an emphasis on community integration.

Primary Duties

  • Ensure that the defined needs of the individuals served are being met and monitor services being provided by assigned personnel. Ensure that staff provide comprehensive and appropriate services to persons receiving services in conjunction with task specifications and supervisory instructions. Ensure all programs and documentation are in compliance with any and all regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment for all persons served, staff, volunteers, inters, contractors, and visitors. Ensure that all individuals adhere to the ServiceSource practices, guidelines and standards. Report and document any unsafe conditions to the appropriate agency/individual.
  • Maintain familiarity with the AbilityOne Program, Medicaid Waiver, local CSB funding, vocational rehabilitation, and CARF to ensure compliance with such regulations.
  • Supervise employees as assigned in the development and implementation of an effective program. Evaluate the performance of designated employees.
  • Ensure that compliance and performance indicators relative to the organizational programs are developed, refined and met on a consistent basis.
Additional Responsibilities

  • Support corporate objectives as outlined in the strategic plan.
  • Ensure that the vocational and nonvocational needs of the individuals served are being met and monitor services being provided by assigned personnel.
  • Develop comprehensive procedures to ensure that operations run at optimum efficiency, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Evaluate current operations and recommend changes and process improvements; assist in the implementation of such changes as necessary to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare operations performance appraisals and ongoing developmental progress reports.
  • Develop and track relevant statistical information for distribution to upper management.
  • Coordinate and implement safety programs to ensure overall safety.
  • Coordinate with facility maintenance to conduct safety inspections and safety drills.
  • Be principal point of contact to the funding source and ensures that the funding source receives accurate and timely performance reports, invoices, etc.
  • Support with CARF surveys and maintain understanding of CARF standards and ensure supervised staff provide quality services that align with the standards.
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with diverse businesses, and complex state, local, and nonprofit entities toward the goal of success for all programs.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • Master's degree in human services or education, plus one (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, human services, education, or marketing field of study with three (3) years' experiences with demonstrated career growth required.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as a Project Manager (or equivalent), or MBA (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Five (5) years experience in Disability Services field required.
  • Two (2) years experience working directly with people with disabilities required.
  • Two (2) years experience performing quality control in a program or project setting required.
  • Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform workrelated travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR). Employee must pass the online driving training within 15 days of hire.
