AltaStaff is a staffing agency and we are currently seeking an Administrative Clinical Scheduler for our Managed Care client

**This position is fully remote but candidates must reside in Central or Eastern time zone**

Pay Rate: $17 - $18 hourly

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Summary: The scheduler will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to both individuals and teams, while also interacting with customers to schedule appointments and/or assist in customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer support to internal and external customers
Responsible for assigning and coordinating referrals for contract work to appropriate parties
Computer data entry
Perform all job duties in compliance with Person First standards, HIPAA guidelines, and company confidentiality policies and procedures
Complete assignments within established compliance standards and timelines
Monitor multiple work queues daily to ensure cases move quickly through each process stage
Identify and resolve data errors
Performs other related duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Associate degree preferred
1-2+ years of scheduling, call center, or administrative experience
Previous clinical office experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
PC proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, database experience and Web based applications.

Work Environment Requirements:

Must be able to to lift at least 30lbs
Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (75% of the time)
Private Secured Internet Connection
Must confirm work environment is safe and secure for work in handling private and sensitive information.
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment
Constantly works indoors in a secluded safe space
Must have High-speed internet access 25 MBPS minimum; 50 MBPS minimum preferred
