    Description

    Calling all Drinking Water Project Managers - Senior Project Manager

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Drinking Water Projects: Manage projects related to water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution.
    • Project Proposals: Prepare proposals, schedules, and budgets for capital projects.
    • Project Activities: Plan, design, permit, bid, construct, and commission drinking water projects.
    • Infrastructure Planning: Lead infrastructure planning and design for individual water projects.
    • Coordination: Collaborate with other technical divisions within the firm, as well as external subcontractors and advisors.
    • Permitting: Prepare and submit permit applications required by local, state, and federal agencies.
    • Bidding Assistance: Assist clients with private and public bidding procedures.
    • Construction Administration: Oversee construction administration efforts.
    • Construction Supervision: Supervise construction observation efforts.
    • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor engineering staff.
    • Outreach: Participate in outreach to technical societies and trade organizations.
    • Project Management: Function as Project Manager, taking responsibility for both project production and management.
    • Marketing: Be involved in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews.

    Education and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
    • Experience working on both public and private water projects.
    • Progressive experience in water infrastructure project delivery.
    • Experience taking designed projects through commissioning and startup.
    • Active involvement in technical societies and trade organizations related to water (e.g., AWWA, NGWA, WEF).
    • 8-15 years of progressive experience in design, permitting, and construction services.
    • Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
    • Current P.E. license or ability to obtain reciprocity as a professional engineer in NJ/NY.
    • Excellent computer and written communication skills.
