Job DescriptionWe have a fun, energetic, family atmosphere that is fueled by the success of our staff. We want to find team members who want to work hard and be rewarded for their hard work. We offer a very lucrative bonus structure in addition to an hourly base pay of $15.50 per hour.
100% of our team has received a bonus check in the last six months ranging from $1000-$2000, these bonuses are based on performance.
The PositionWe are looking for reliable debt collectors to contact debtors and recover outstanding debts.
A debt collector will have to be polite and sensitive towards people while also remaining committed to their purpose and persistent.
ResponsibilitiesKeep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments
Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status
Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
Handle questions or complaints
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Create trust relationships with debtors
Update account status and database regularly
Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary
Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
Skills
Proven experience as debt collector
Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
Excellent communication and people skills
Apt in negotiating and persuading
Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence
High school diploma is preferred
