    Description
    Position: Dishwasher/Food Prep

    This person's primary duty will be washing dishes and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, in addition to occasionally contributing to the daily food prep needs based on direction from the leadership team.     Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):

    • Washing of all dishes, pots, pans and utensils as needed
    • Assist with food preparation and follow the assigned prep list (includes chopping, dicing, slicing, baking/pastry, etc.)
    • Ability to follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards as set by company
    • Prepare salads, sandwiches, and specials to order according to company standards in a timely & efficient manner
    • Able to use kitchen equipment such as grill, slicer, stove, ovens, etc.
    • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, coolers and all storage areas
    • Establish and maintain a positive work environment
    • Additional duties and projects as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • At least one year of professional kitchen and/or commercial dishwashing experience encouraged but not required
    • Ability to work with others in a team setting and be flexible to the changing needs of the kitchen
    • Must have a passion and appreciation for quality food
    • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently
    • Able to follow instructions and established procedures
    • Proactive mindset and initiative to solve problems
    • Friendly, positive, enthusiastic attitude
    • Flexible availability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

    At least 30 hours per week. Starting at $16/hr.
