At Loxahatchee Groves, you can take your own path in knowledge transfer. We are currently seeking a Professor of "Fluid Mechanics" in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.


What to expect:
In this position, you will primarily teach courses in fluid mechanics and flow simulation. You will also teach fundamental courses in the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Mechanical Engineering.

You will teach at various locations within the Department of Mechanical Engineering, mainly in German but possibly also in English, supporting the university's internationalization strategy.

Additionally, you will conduct research in an attractive environment, acquire and supervise applied research projects, and contribute to knowledge transfer and further education.

What you bring:
You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics and a qualified doctorate.

You also have extensive professional experience in the industrial field of Mechanical Engineering, such as in process engineering or the use and generation of renewable energies.

Your portfolio is complemented by your own focus on flow simulation and expertise in experimental validation of simulations, as well as innovative flow measurement technology.

You are able to explain complex concepts clearly and have a proven track record of inspiring students in fluid mechanics, ideally through teaching experience at a university.
