    **35%** **Primary Responsibilities**

    Manage Environmental, Health and Safety for manufacturing and MoveMore operations. Manage and monitor the sustainment of EHS programs to comply with all federal, state and local regulations and company policies. Maintain and manage safety training requirements as needed for all employees. Confer with and act as a resource to plant leadership for questions and problems relating to environmental, safety and industrial hygiene issues. Assist and collaborate with other departments such as, corporate safety, medical, security, facilities maintenance, and plant operations. Support plant-based safety teams. Provide management support to the employee-led, behavioral-based safety observations and feedback process.

    Manage departmental personnel by assigning work tasks, hiring/terminating employees, and conducting performance reviews. Manage and support all aspects of plants EHS systems and training. Act as a resource to supervisors and managers on all environmental, health and safety issues. Prepare and monitor the department's budget.

    Oversee the incident investigation process and maintain accident prevention activities in the plant. Monitor safety statistics and utilize various data streams to understand plant injury trends. Work with all levels of employees to develop countermeasures or fixes to trends identified. Follow-up with departmental personnel on all corrective actions from incident reports to ensure completion and accuracy. Report results and needs to plant management.

    Perform duties such as conducting Talent Development Discussion sessions, rating performance, establishing/tracking goals and completing annual wage reviews. Responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities.

    Assist the organization with other duties as required. These may include but are not limited to environmental and sustainability activities, industrial hygiene issues and manufacturing process design reviews. Perform other duties as assigned.

    **Qualifications:**

    High school diploma or equivalent required plus a Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health and environmental management required. Five to seven years' prior experience in manufacturing safety and/or environmental with knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.

    Strong understanding of and experience in injury prevention/risk assessment, managing budgets, trend analysis and employment development.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Good problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills.

    Excellent relationship and consensus building skills. Willingness to work with people at all levels of the organization.

    Dedication to continual improvement.
