Under general supervision, the candidate will assist and support safety professionals by being involved in the interaction and learning about various techniques and processes related to environmental health and safety.

**Primary Responsibilities**

+ Assist with managing, monitoring and auditing environmental health and safety programs

+ Develop JSAs for plant processes

+ Review and update lock out tag out procedures

+ Conduct Risk Assessments and Ergonomic Reviews

+ Help develop site emergency response procedures

+ Other duties and activities as assigned by the plant Safety Manager

**Qualifications**

+ Must be graduating from high school in Spring 2024 and attending college in the Fall or currently attending college and returning to college in the Fall.

+ Good analytical and communication skills required.
