- Ability to identify known potential exposures and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions on a project that may lead to injury and/or property damage using job specific safety standards and best management practices.
- Conduct risk assessment and job site analysis to enforce preventative measures.
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes.
- Control PPE inventory and distribute all necessary PPE for each job site.
- Provide, update, and maintain all site safety plans.
- Ability to handle and eliminate conflict on job sites.
- Participate in pre-job planning and start-up, Site-Specific Emergency Action Plans (EAP), etc.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid state driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug screen and back mobility assessment
- Current CPR/First Aid holder
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification is required
- Minimum 7 years of proven safety manager experience
- BS/BA in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred
