Description

We are seeking a Program Director to partner with the Clinical Director of an Article 31 clinic to ensure timely completion of mental health evaluations for all children in care.

You will oversee and create necessary policies, protocols, and workflows.


As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to individuals of all ages.

You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations and make a positive impact on their lives.


Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure proper supervision, including clinical supervision, for all clinic staff.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Fiscal Departments to address missing documentation, allowing the agency to bill for services.
  • Ensure staff follow clinic policies and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of NYS Department of Health/OCFS/ACS policies and protocols related to medical and behavioral health services for children in foster care.
  • Coordinate with foster care staff to provide necessary medical and behavioral health services, referrals, and assessments.
  • Review treatment plans, health care information, and medical records.
  • Establish treatment goals for children based on historical and current information, in conjunction with LCSW.
  • Supervise the determination and documentation of medical necessity for Core Limited Health-Related Services during initial health screenings for children entering foster care.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Current Licensure by the New York State Department of Education as a
    Psychiatrist or
    Psychologist or
    Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
  • 7+ years of administrative/supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid managed care and of foster care.

Pay:
$100, $115,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:
