Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI) in the Materials Management Unit (MMU) of Purchasing Services, the incumbent will perform a variety of warehouse functions.

Those functions include, but are not limited to, receiving, storing, and issuing goods, inventory control of commodities and Information Technology goods.

This position is based at DWR's Central Warehouse.

  • Special Requirements
  • Must be able to move up to 60 pounds. The moving and lifting of furniture, equipment, boxes, cans, printed materials, and supplies is necessary while operating within a warehouse and delivery environment. Work in both indoor and outdoor storage areas in a nonclimatecontrolled building.
  • A valid California Class C driver's license is required for operation of cargo vehicles.
  • A Forklift Operator training certificate is required for forklift operation; training will be provided. May be required to work overtime at certain times of the year.
