    : Associate Specialist at Client Service Solutions, Hedge Fund Services, Northern Trust

    Role:

    The CSS team at HFS is focused on enhancing client relationships and operational effectiveness at Northern Trust. As a CSS Partner, you will be the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded through meticulous management of Middle Office and Operational services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with clients, understand their needs, and advocate for them within HFS.
    • Operational Excellence: Coordinate with Operational Partners to ensure service targets are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
    • Communication and Leadership: Proactively offer solutions for operational efficiencies to clients and motivate staff.
    • Strategic Oversight: Lead shared service teams, understand client business processes, and ensure outstanding results.
    • Client Engagement: Participate in client visits to strengthen relationships.
    • Issue Resolution and Escalation Management: Efficiently manage and resolve client issues.
    • Project and Workflow Management: Manage key client projects and contribute to process improvement.

    Competencies Required:

    • Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years in trade operations, reconciliations, or related fields.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written abilities.
    • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership skills with a focus on building productive relationships.
    • Client-Centric Mindset: Strong focus on client satisfaction.
    • Analytical Skills: Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel, with VBA knowledge as a plus.
    • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial products and P&L calculations.
