    CareAdvisors is looking for a Community Outreach Associate with a strong background in community engagement or a proven interest in advancing health equity or social justice for underserved and vulnerable communities.

    In this role, you will support our efforts on the ground and will be an integral part of our community impact strategy.

    The right candidate will have experience conducting community outreach and wants to serve their communities in an empathetic and culturally competent manner.


    Core Functions:


    Conduct in-person outreach at local events and some phone outreach (90% in person events / 10% phone)Provide information on local resources, conduct enrollments, or provide educational social care materialsProvide post-event support as required, which may include following up with participants after the eventRespond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics.

    Complete daily data entry and required paperwork in a timely mannerConsistently meet goals set by leadershipParticipate in daily, weekly, monthly team meetingsOther tasks as assigned by leadershipCore Requirements:

    Associate's degree or commensurate professional work experienceIdeally, 2+ years of experience conducting community outreachAble to commit to a 40 hour per week work scheduleAble to accommodate a flexible schedule - some events may occur during the day, evenings, or weekendsMust have access to a vehicle, proof of insurance and valid driver's license to perform essential job functionsBasic computer skills and comfortable learning new technologiesStrong time management skillsStrong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skillsBilingual (any language) would be a big plusAble to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and random drug screeningsAble to work independently and manage time effectively At Care Advisors, we value diversity and endeavor to treat everyone with respect, no matter their age, gender, race, ethnicity, or sexual, cultural or ideological preferences.
