- Hands-on, robust experience with technologies involved in software and operating system deployment in a large enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP and endpoint performance management tools.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify, research, and resolve simple to moderately complex technical support issues independently.

- Experience engineering support of Active Directory, DNS, and any additional Microsoft, JAMF and Ivanti
- Experience with Active Directory including AD forest migration, remediation and consolidation, as well as a strong foundation in other directory service technologies including GPO, DNS and DHCP
- Strong hands-on experience with endpoint security tools such as Microsoft Defender, McAfee and encryption technologies.
- Proficient project planning and writing skills.
- MAC Genius experience
- Hands on experience designing and configuring Microsoft Windows and MAC End User technology including Antivirus, patch management and other System Administration tools
- Experience developing detailed Windows and MAC Administrative standards, design, and implementation documentation.
- Experience capacity planning, performance monitoring and maintenance.

Job Summary:
A System Admin - Imaging Engineer job in Washington, DC is currently available through Belcan at one of our key federalclients.
To be considered for this role, you will have a BS in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience.

This position has broad set of responsibilities for work related to Tier3 support of endpoint computing.
The general focus of the position is Microsoft Windows and Mac Operating Systems management and deployment in a large enterprise environment.
Job Duties:
Test new versions of operating system and endpoint software for compatibility, performance optimization and deployment.
Manage all aspects of the end-to-end release process.
Develop and validate software release process/technical procedures.
Develop master images and deployment procedures.
Develop and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) checklists for software release processes.
Work with stakeholders for software deployment/updates
Deals with communication, preparation, and training for new releases
Update Knowledge Management System (KMS)
Provides management reports on release progress.
Track software licensing
Ensure security compliance to the supported applications and operating systems.
Perform daily system performance and security monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, endpoint systems and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs.
Researching and testing new operating systems, office productivity enterprise software, and endpoint management technologies and tools to support tech refresh and lifecycle management of the supported technologies.
Provide support to end users and helpdesk Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff for solving complex problems.Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Participate in the design, implementation and management of workload automation initiatives.
Adhere to firm Change Management, Problem Management policies and familiarity with ITIL or other formalized IT operations.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package.
This position is offering a salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
