Primary responsibilities will include:
strategic oversight of the department, budget management, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient safety, and building positive and collaborative physician relationships.

About the Hospital and Department:
Position will manage a growing 27 bed ED that sees over 53k annual visits
The Director will be well supported by an ED Nurse Manager, and a Department Educator
Reports directly to a collaborative and dynamic Chief Nursing Officer

Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Emergency Department (RN):
Master's degree required (Master's or Bachelor's must be in Nursing)
Active RN License
Minimum of five (5) years of ER clinical nursing experience required
Minimum of three (3) years of ER leadership experience as an Emergency Department Manager or Director level required
INSPIRATIONAL, SERVANT leader who will be able to ensure the team has the tools they need to provide the best patient care to the community
Be able to show a demonstrated track record of improving employee satisfaction/engagement, throughput times, and the patient experience
