As a Teacher Assistant you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8am -4pm
All Teacher Assistant positions are year long 52 week positions
Every day as a Teacher Assistant you will....
- Ensure student safety
- Assist in establishing classroom environments that is conducive to maximum learning by maintaining structure and guiding students to socially appropriate behaviors
- Work with the Special Education Teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs individually and in small groups
- Perform ongoing data collection and record keeping as directed by Special Education Teacher
- Support and reinforce PBIS goals and objectives

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Special Education preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders preferred.
Must be 21 years old
