    We are looking for a Civil Engineer in Training to join our Transportation design team in Reston, VA.


    Position Description:
    Our Transportation team is looking for an experienced civil engineer-in-training to join our Reston, VA office. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general transportation design tasks and support various project managers as required.


    Project may include:

    • Traffic Impact Analysis
    • Corridor and Safety Studies
    • Signal Timing and Design
    • Intelligent Transportation Systems
    • Multimodal Transportation Planning

    Position Requirements:

    • BS degree in Civil Engineering
    • EIT with a desire ability to become a Professional Engineer
    • 2 or more years of relevant Transportation engineering experience
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding organizational skills
    • Desire and ability to help train young professionals
    • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
    • Proficiency in MicroStation, Synchro, GIS, and Excel. VISSIM a plus
    • Previous Transportation experience with a civil engineering design firm
