**Position Description:**
Our Transportation team is looking for an experienced civil engineer-in-training to join our Reston, VA office. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general transportation design tasks and support various project managers as required. Project may include:
Traffic Impact Analysis
Corridor and Safety Studies
Signal Timing and Design
Intelligent Transportation Systems
Multimodal Transportation Planning
**Position Requirements:**
BS degree in Civil Engineering
EIT with a desire ability to become a Professional Engineer
2 or more years of relevant Transportation engineering experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Desire and ability to help train young professionals
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
Proficiency in MicroStation, Synchro, GIS, and Excel. VISSIM a plus
Previous Transportation experience with a civil engineering design firm
