Commercial Mobile Tire Technician to expand our team.

This position offers the opportunity to work in various settings, from customer locations to on-the-road emergencies, ensuring our commitment to prompt services is upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

Tire Services: Perform mounting, dismounting, balancing, replacing, and repairing of truck tires at customer sites, including highways, city locations, customer fleets, and other designated areas.

Equipment Handling: Utilize hydraulic jacks, air tools, and heavy hand-held tools for service tasks. Conduct daily maintenance of service vehicle, tools, and equipment.

Safety and Efficiency: Adhere to all safety protocols, use provided safety equipment, and maintain a safety-conscious mindset at all times.

Emergency Road Services: Participate in an on-call duty rotation after completing training to perform emergency road services.

Service Coordination: Effectively communicate with the Service Manager regarding job status and completion. Ensure all service work is performed according to the "Extra Mile" Program standards.

Maintenance and Reporting: Conduct daily pre and post vehicle inspections. Responsible for fleet service work, inspections, and off-site inventory reporting as needed.

Documentation: Complete hand tickets detailing work performed and products used. Obtain customer signatures on all required paperwork.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial tire service work is preferred.
• Ability to use inspection equipment, drills, rollers, and perform various tire repairs.
• Knowledge of writeoff procedures for customer's "off" tires.
• Familiarity with match mounting, dual assembly mating, and radial runout procedures.
• Competency in inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Strong coordination skills for effective job status updates and completion.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to the correct uniform standard.
• Ability to work "oncall" for afterhours/weekend service calls based on customer needs.
