We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical accounting skills and a passion for numbers.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes
  • Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling transactions and performing account analysis
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Prepare various financial reports as needed
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, to record and track financial transactions

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and technical accounting principles
  • Proficiency in general ledger accounting and bank reconciliations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
  • Solid understanding of financial reports
  • Familiarity with GAAP guidelines
  • Proficient in using QuickBooks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
