Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.

As an Accounting Clerk at Kyocera Medical Technologies, Inc., you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the efficient operation of our finance department.

You will work closely with our Controller and AR Lead along with other team members to contribute to the overall financial health and success of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
  • Posting financial transactions using appropriate computer software.
  • Receiving and recording vouchers, cash, and checks.
  • Producing a variety of reports including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
  • Perform other accounting and financerelated tasks as required by Controller and/or AR Lead.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience general accounting, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and/or Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software QAD or equivalent.
  • Handson experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers and comfortable with a range of mathematical operations.
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks.
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • High level of Integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
