JOB SUMMARY:
Our company is looking for a talented and highly motivated Web/SEO Specialist to join our team.
As a Web/SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining company websites and ensuring SEO efforts are effectively driving desired results.
You will work closely with other members of the marketing team to develop and implement creative marketing strategies that help us meet our business objectives.
JOB DUTIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collaborate with Director of Digital Marketing on search engine optimization strategies and tactics that increase the company's search results rankings and increase website trafficResearch SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materialsSet measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing effortsMonitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performanceEfficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goalsWrite compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptionsUpdate content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankingsAlign the website content with the organization's brand, strategy and standardsAudit user behavior and identify optimizations to improve UXAssist with campaigns and other marketing effortsComplete tests to ensure website efficiency and qualityCreate strategies to improve website conversion rates (CRO)Develop website content to support organizational goals and strategiesAssist with tracking and analytics for pay-per-click and search engine optimization campaignsMonitor for website security breaches and respond to them as neededPlan, create, implement, manage, monitor and update websites for organizationsReply to, troubleshoot and resolve website issuesUpdate website coding as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Two to three years of experience in successfully managing websites, and developing and executing SEO campaignsUnderstanding of web site operations, and search engine algorithms and ranking methodsExperience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe AnalyticsKnowledge of keyword research and data mining toolsAble to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industryExcellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basisFamiliarity with WordPress or other content management systemsExperience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plusO ur mission is to share our love of cannabis with the world.
