- Work closely with customers, Commercial Sales, Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance, Quality, Distribution, and Transportation to accurately gather and process purchase order requirements for given account assignments.
- Enter make-to-order (MTO) and custom orders into E1/SAP systems, allocate finished goods to sales orders, and schedule shipments in conjunction with the Distribution and Transportation Departments.
- Handle orders in compliance with all aspects of the Order-To-Cash (OTC) lifecycle business rules including, new customer account set ups, quotes and pricing, revenue recognition, date changes ( order accelerations, expedites and deferrals), cancellations, and service complaints ( credits, debits, and returns).
- Understand and aim to exceed Bioproduction CO&S important metrics ( order entry turnaround time/accuracy, revenue, OTTP, and CAS targets).
- Troubleshoot, raise and resolve risks jeopardizing customer commitments, and communicate action plans to customers in a timely manner.
- Strive to enhance the account relationship by meeting and exceeding realistic customer expectations, including preparing reports and facilitating customer open order review meetings.
- Serve as the customer advocate throughout internal processes.
- BS/BA degree, or equivalent work experience. Biotech industry preferred.
- Two years' experience order entry in various systems ( Oracle E1, SAP, Salesforce) in customer facing role.
