    Legal Assistant - DC Office

    Reno & Cavanaugh, PLLC, a law firm with offices in Washington, DC, Nashville, TN, and Columbia, MD, seeks a legal assistant for the transactional real estate practice in our Washington, DC office.

    Since our founding in 1977, Reno & Cavanaugh has developed a national practice encompassing the entire real estate, economic development, and affordable housing industry. Though we have expanded our range of services, we have stayed true to our core mission of providing quality legal and legislative services to increase housing and business opportunities and strengthen communities across the nation.

    The ideal candidate will be highly organized, pay close attention to detail, and work well in a team environment. Experience working in a law firm or other busy office environment is a plus. Legal Assistants at Reno & Cavanaugh work hard to meet client deadlines, to produce expert results, and to assist not only attorneys but also each other, especially during busy times.

    We have a Legal Assistant position open in our DC office. This is a full time in-person position with a starting salary of $48,000. After one year of employment, they will be able to work remotely 1 day per week.

    We are looking for someone who is extremely organized, takes initiative, is detail oriented, and someone who is go-getter and not afraid to jump in and help. They will be working on a team where the partner is fully remote and living out of state. They will need to be extremely comfortable working with someone who is not in the office, and not afraid to pick up the phone or do a video call.
