This role reports to the Sr. Director of Global Procurement and Logistics.The Global Logistics Warehouse Manager will be responsible for stablishing, managing and operating Warehousing Standards and Procedures and apply associated job tools including reporting requirements, inventory management systems, warehouse layout management, and receiving and dispatching goods and materialsResponsibilities:
Prepare, review, implement, and Global warehousing standards across the organization
Inventory Management:
Ensuring accurate tracking, control, and organization of inventory levels. This involves implementing inventory management systems, conducting regular audits, and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet the team's needs.
Receiving and Dispatch:
Overseeing the receiving process for incoming goods, verifying their quality and quantity, and coordinating with suppliers and transportation providers.
Similarly, managing the dispatch process to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Storage and Space Utilization:
Optimizing the layout of the warehouse to maximize storage space, including shelving, racking, and binning systems. Ensuring efficient use of space while maintaining proper accessibility and safety standards.
Order Fulfillment:
Supervising the picking, packing, and shipping of orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the fulfillment process. Coordinating with other departments, such as IT and Programs, to meet requirements.
Warehouse Safety:
Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conducting regular safety inspections, providing training to warehouse staff on safe operating practices, and addressing any potential hazards or incidents promptly.
Equipment and Maintenance:
Managing warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, and automated systems, to ensure their proper functioning and maintenance. Scheduling repairs and routine maintenance and coordinating with vendors for equipment servicing and replacements.
Team Management:
Hiring, training, and supervising warehouse personnel, including warehouse associates, supervisors, and administrative staff. Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive work culture.
Process Improvement:
Continuously analyzing global warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and productivity. Implementing process enhancements, such as lean management techniques or automation, to streamline operations.
Conduct regular safety and security training to assess established protocols and procedures and to keep CORE at a high-level of emergency readiness.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintaining accurate records of inventory, transactions, and operational activities. Generating regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and warehouse productivity.
Compliance and Regulations:
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, such as health and safety standards, labor laws, and industry-specific requirements. Staying updated on regulatory changes and implementing necessary measures to maintain compliance.
Contribute to the strategic and programmatic discussions with the management team by providing continuous analysis of the security, economic and political context in country and field operations.
Provide written analysis of security trends and reporting of incidents.Participate in meetings, committees, and task forces, prepare reports on security issues, deliver briefings, and provide responses, as needed.
Deploy to disaster zones to manage disaster warehousing needsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, political/social science, psychology, criminal justice, law, international relations, security management or a related field is required

Proficiency in English is necessary, and proficiency in French and Spanish is an added advantage
Experience:
6+ years of warehousing and inventory management experience at an INGO, businesses, or other organizationExperience creating warehousing and inventory plans and SOPs.
Ability to prioritize, manage, and implement multiple high-level projects in a timely manner, even in fast-changing contexts.
Ability to make quick decisions in emergencies or when rapid response is needed.
Ability to communicates complex concepts effectively both verbally and in writing.
Familiar with MS.
