We are looking for a Department Head (m/f/d) for the Tax and Freiherr von Ulner Foundation department at our office in Heidelberg, starting on September 1, 2023.

Fulltime position (41 hours/week for civil servants, 39 hours/week for employees)
Salary group A12 or pay group 12 TVöD (monthly salary for employees ranging from €4,142 to €5,977 gross, depending on relevant work experience)

Your responsibilities:

Leadership, control, and coordination tasks in the department
Handling the county's tax obligations, including preparing and reviewing taxrelated matters and filing tax returns (sales, business, and corporate taxes), managing and conducting tax audits, and exploring tax planning opportunities for the county and the municipal enterprise for construction, assets, and information technology
Implementing the new VAT regulation of § 2b UStG
Establishing a Tax Compliance Management System for the Rhein-NeckarKreis
Managing the Freiherr von Ulner Foundation (budget and
