    Description

    Bessemer Trust is looking for a skilled Investor Relations Analyst to join its Alternative Investments team within the Alternative Investor Relations department. The person will collaborate with colleagues to support the operational aspects of the Alternative Investments fund of funds business. This role involves interacting with various internal teams like Client Advisors, Investment Research, Finance, Tax, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance, among others, to help enhance the day-to-day operations of the Alternative Investments business.

    Bessemer Trust's Alternative Investments group consists of 28 team members divided into 5 teams: Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Assets, Advisory, and IR. They manage 17 active funds totaling around $7 billion in assets, including over 150 underlying investment funds and more than 5,500 client investments.

    Responsibilities:
    • Act as the main contact for Client Advisors and investors regarding Alternative Investments fund inquiries
    • Handle various requests and documentation related to marketing, fundraising, subscriptions, capital calls, transfers, distributions, and fund redemptions for Alternative Investments
    • Coordinate and distribute client communications on summaries, fund performance, marketing materials, and other mailings related to Alternative Investments
    • Collaborate with investment managers and internal teams to provide information to investors like K-1s and financial statements
    • Assist with documentation for investments under the External Manager Solutions program
    • Keep client records up to date in compliance with policies and procedures
    • Support ongoing work and special projects related to Alternative Investments
    Qualifications:
    • Must have a Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
    • Good understanding of financial concepts and markets, experience with Alternative Investments is a plus
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
    • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Interpersonal skills to build relationships with professionals at all levels
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    The salary range for this position is between $80K and $105K annually. Salaries will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
