    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead global direct materials strategic sourcing and NPI teams overseeing $1B spend
    • Manage team of 10 procurement professionals
    • Strong R&D experience
    • Ensure efficient global supplier management, delivering scale benefits, cost savings, and quality enhancements
    • Manage budgets and track material costs for financial standards
    • Achieve year-over-year savings for Direct and Indirect materials
    • Develop team members and manage employee experience in hybrid environment
    • Establish and execute supplier targets, negotiate contracts, and agreements
    • Foster culture of procurement excellence
    • Develop and implement standardized sourcing processes and strategies
    • Drive material cost savings projects in collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve supplier performance
    • Efficiently manage supplier capacity, allocation, and capex spend
    • Negotiate complex global contracts leveraging growth in volumes, geographies, and risk profiles
    • Build strategic relationships with suppliers for talent, technology, quality, and cost
    • Drive collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other corporate functions
    • Lead NPI team to integrate sourcing into product development process and manage sourcing projects pre-tech transfer
    • Implement programs to increase supplier diversity spend and set sustainability goals
    • Drive digital adaptation, analytics, visualization, and insights for enhanced sourcing operations

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree with 10+ years of industry experience
    • MBA Preferred
    • 13+ years of years of successful leadership experience in relevant industry.
