*This is a hybrid role, candidates must be able to commute to our client's Irvine office, for a minimum of 3 days a week.
Our client, is seeking a skilled Sr. Business Analyst to join their M&A integration team. This is a unique

12-month contract role

where you'll play a vital role in streamlining the integration of a newly acquired company's IT infrastructure and processes. You'll work closely with a dedicated integration team to ensure a smooth transition and unlock valuable teamwork.

What You'll Do:
Analyze the target company's IT operations, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
In order to ensure a smooth transition, the Sr.

BA needs to understand both the current workflows and processes (as-is) and the desired future state (to-be) for both companies pre and post merger.

The ideal candidate will have previous examples of as is/to be documents that they have created.
Develop a plan to optimize IT infrastructure and enhance helpdesk support, ensuring a seamless integration.
Collaborate with stakeholders across both organizations to create a unified integration strategy for business processes, cultures, and systems.
Navigate common challenges associated with IT integration, including legacy systems, data migration, security concerns, and process alignment.

You'll Be Successful If You Have:
Solid Experience (8+ years):

Proven track record in business analysis and process mapping, ideally within M&A or a similar field. You've successfully delivered integration projects that captured synergies and streamlined operations.

Collaboration Champion:
You excel at working with diverse stakeholders, fostering open communication whilst extracting pertinent information, and eventually building consensus.

Integration Expert:
You possess a strong understanding of M&A integration strategy and best practices, including due diligence, planning, and post-merger activities. Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile or Waterfall) is a plus.

Problem-Solving Prowess:
You approach challenges with a clear head, analyze complex situations, and develop creative solutions.

Take-Charge Approach:

You are self sufficient; you can independently manage your workload, prioritize effectively, and lead cross-functional teams towards achieving integration goals.

Technical Expertise:
Knowledge of ServiceNow, ADP, Oracle, Salesforce, Azure, Workday HCM, Workday ERM, Intune and Microsoft 365 a plus.
