    Shift:
    Th, F, S 7a-7p

    Clinical Practice/Patient Care - Operates the Tomography Imaging equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures according to the Diagnostic Imaging Department's P&P manual.

    Demonstrates basic knowledge in computers and information processing, computer applications, image capture, display and storage. Demonstrates the ability to fix studies in the private area in collaboration with IDXRAD.
    Documents QA activities appropriately.

    Provides patient safety and protection in accordance with federal and state regulatory agencies, accreditation agencies and health care organizations.

    Participates in the scheduling of work with support personnel on their assigned shift.
    Reviews requests for radiology procedures with the assistance of the radiologist, Radiographer 2/3 or the supervisor when necessary.
    Unit Management
    Assists in ensuring unit based products available (i.e.

    Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology; licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is required.
