- Identify, qualify, and capture new sales opportunities utilizing web searches, social media, networking, and creativity
- Conduct both warm and cold calling to prospective customer base
- Attend and exhibit at industrial trade shows to develop new customer relationships
- Visit customers in-person to present company as a potential supplier with a focus on project fits
- Manage customer inquiries and quote requests with accuracy and urgency
- Partner with internal resources to ensure alignment on both pricing and technical specifications
- Manage and take complete ownership of the end-to-end sales process
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records of sales activities including customer interactions, sales pipeline, and order status
- Prepare sales reports and updates as needed for leadership team
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic Engineering experience or education is a big plus
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in B2B sales / marketing highly preferred
- Ability to travel 50% of the time. Valid driver's license required
- Successful inside sales experience in a customer facing role with a strong preference for the industrial or manufacturing sector. Field sales experience highly preferred
- Proficient technical aptitude and the ability to learn a wide variety of products and applications
- High-level customer relationship skills with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
- Knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Salesforce experience or a similar CRM software experience is highly preferred
