- Provide general patient care, assist with personal hygiene and perform routine activities as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Initiate, assemble and maintain accurate functional chats for all patients in the assigned unit.
- Maintain patient's medical records in an orderly manner and document all care provided and significant information, legibly, accurately and completely.
- Observe assigned patients and report nay patient care problems, change in patient condition or unexpected occurrences to RN/Team Leader.
- Maintain a proper inventory of supplies needed in order to provide continuous service, minimizing downtime and maintain a safe, clean and functional working environment in the nursing station and nursing area.
- Screen visitors, telephone calls, incoming mail and other correspondence.
- Prepare patient chart and deliver to Medial Records upon discharge of patient, or to the Nursing office upon expiration of the patient.
- Maintain up to date records on computer for Bed Management.
- Access lab results from the computer for the physician.
- File documents following standard procedures.
- Give enemas, reinforce simple non sterile dressings, apply binders, collect specimens, apply heat or cold devices and perform other routine tasks.
- Assist the RN or LPN in caring for seriously ill patients or in complicated treatments or procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of specialty by attending seminars, in services and reading journals.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Requirements: Vocational/technical training and more than six months job-related experience or equivalent is required. Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, basic computer skills and medical terminology and also required.
