    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

    The Administrative Assistant's duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to warehouse operations team to ensure efficient operation of the contract. The ability to communicate about and navigate workflow, documents and office related administrative tasks is key. The Administrative Assistant should be able to effectively communicate via phone, digital video meeting systems, traditional office IT tools and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Answers and directs phone calls.
    • Greets and assists visitors.
    • Organizes and schedules meetings and appointments.
    • Receives, sorts, and distributes mail, correspondence emails, and faxes.
    • Assists in preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
    • Utilizes SharePoint to maintain computer files.
    • Researches and creates presentations as needed.
    • Ensures equipment is in good working condition by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, and maintaining equipment inventories.
    • Make sure warehouse bills are paid
    • Places orders for office supplies and maintains inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipates needed supplies; places and expedites orders for supplies; verifies receipt of supplies.
    • Assists with filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.

    Job Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Active Secret clearance
    • At least two years' office/administrative assistant experience
    • Proficient in software such as Outlook, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant software systems
    • Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce preferred.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills a must.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
    • Can-do attitude.
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

    Preference in filling this position will be given to qualified Indian applicants in accordance with the Indian Preference Act.
