Summary

The Director of Product Management would work with the SVP of Product to define and communicate the company's overall product strategy.

Product Strategy

  • Develop high level strategic vision across enterprise of products and translate it into product roadmaps
  • Host external partner discovery boards with key clients and partners to validate ideas and create solutions to industry challenges
  • Create internal strategy and innovation team with members from each department to obtain feedback from current clients, potential clients and industry events.
  • Collaborate with various departments, sharing customer pain points and discussing new product ideas, communicating product vision, strategy and roadmaps, and gaining alignment.
  • Manage strategic initiatives and long term projects with clients and hotel partners such as keyless entry, etc
  • Implement formal scoring system for prioritizing initiatives

Delivery

  • Oversee strategic product roadmap, development, launch, and marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product
  • Manage resources across the product team to ensure all product owners and scrum teams have what they need for delivery
  • Communicate and make plans visible and align with stakeholders on change

Product Invoicing

  • Own product invoicing process by working with accounting to generate invoices for all deliverables and commitments.

Product Marketing

  • Work with marketing company on communication for all new features
  • Work with marketing company to publish external release notes for all product releases
  • Work with business development team on product enhancements and new product lines to generate new revenue.

Product Integration

  • Work closely with product integration team to ensure solutions delivered are in line with current product projects and overall product strategy

Leadership & Management

  • Management and mentorship of Product Owners
  • Follow and augment Product Management Framework
  • Coach and mentor team members on effective Product Management and Delivery ownership of their products throughout the lifecycle

Required Skills, Education and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management; minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role leading team members
  • Experience with gotomarket strategies for new products or pricing strategies for existing products
  • Demonstrated success in launching products into the market and achieving desired business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of pricing models and revenue optimization strategies
  • Track record of effectively managing product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond
  • Prior experience working in the hotel/airline industry
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Attention to detail while simultaneously keeping the bigpicture view in mind
  • Curious and analytical mindset
  • Creative thinker with a vision

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours and as needed on nights and weekends unless otherwise specified.

Compensation
Good faith annual salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 and is commensurate with experience.
