The job profile:
Textile production mechanics set up fully or partially automated knitting machines and equipment in the textile industry. They operate, monitor, maintain, and repair them. In addition, they organize the material flow of the produced raw materials.

In the production of fabrics, production mechanics ensure that production facilities are functioning properly. They set up the knitting machines before the start of production. They analyze pattern templates, determine construction techniques, and create data carriers for the control devices of the knitting machines. Furthermore, they start up the machines, monitor the process flows, and inspect the textile products. They also identify and fix errors in case of machine malfunctions. They will learn to monitor and optimize our production process.

The training at TRIGEMA takes place in the dual system. The vocational school lessons are held in blocks in Balingen.

After successfully completing the training, you can be employed in our textile company in the knitting department or there is the possibility to further train as a master or technician
