Description

As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role as part of our 3-person legal team in supporting our companies both domestically and internationally

Your responsibilities will include:

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating freight and logistics contracts with national and international clients
Providing legal advice on transportation documents and specific issues related to daily freight operations
Reviewing other typical company contracts and addressing legal questions
Providing advisory support for asserting claims and handling legal disputes, if necessary in collaboration with external law firms
Assisting with corporate and contract management tasks

Qualifications:

Fully qualified lawyer or equivalent qualification
Fluent in English with strong negotiation skills
Previous experience in transportation/freight law and/or international contract drafting preferred
Enjoy working in a small team with a diverse range of tasks, based on trust, openness, loyalty, dedication, and enjoyment
Handson mentality and a healthy level of curiosity.
