District Overview
At McNally, we pride ourselves on our ability to develop solutions to many unique challenges that present themselves on both land and water. Widely recognized as one of North America's leading tunnel and marine contractors, we have become synonymous with completing difficult and demanding projects.
To complete our work, we rely on highly skilled and motivated Project Managers, Technicians, Surveyors, Engineers and Superintendents to work together and successfully accomplish the unique opportunities that are presented.
Location
This position is located in Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities
• May work in a discipline-specific area on a large project or on a small project overseeing multiple job functions.
• Support construction activities by planning, organizing, and implementing the following functions: safety, quality control, project controls and scheduling, engineering interface, subcontracts and materials management, and purchasing.
• Assist project management in expediting material deliveries, estimating and processing change orders, preparing monthly billings, and preparing shop drawings.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a construction-related field of engineering
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Experience with leadership in some capacity
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Previous internship experience is preferred
• Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
• Ability to travel and relocate to small and large cities as business requires a plus
