    Entry Level Design Engineer (R&D)

    This is a great opportunity to get some hands on experience in product design from the ground up. We are designing a new product that will launch Nationally this year and we need someone who can think on their feet and have a can-do attitude. This is great for a recent grad or someone who is currently in the process of getting certified.

    Summary
    Primary responsibilities include scanning, designing, and creating patterns for a small ecommerce and manufacturing company located in Brooklyn Hts., OH. This is a full-time, temporary position for a period of 6-months working with a small R&D team in a relaxed environment to launch a new product to market.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    · Work well with a small team to accomplish company goals.

    · Good organizational skills.

    · Experience working with a team.

    · Ability to meet project deadlines.

    · Ability to update and keep track of products being photographed, scanned, and drawn.

    Qualifications

    · Candidate must have background experience or certification with one of the following: AutoCAD, Fusion360, 3D CAD, and Excel.

    · Database experience.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    Education and/or Experience

    · Associates or higher degree is A+ but not required.

    · Portfolio of work can be used as substitute of degree.
