- ITS manages the ITS Comprehensive Maintenance Contract, overseeing work orders and task orders.
- Monitors data inputs to ensure system performance, deploying maintenance forces when needed.
- Provides customer service for various traffic operations.
- Manages engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Active member of the Configuration Control Board for the Georgia NaviGAtor System.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology with two years of related experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- OR Professional Engineer (PE) License with two years of related experience.
- Foreign degrees require Equivalency Evaluation by NCEES along with the official transcript.
- Georgia PE license required or obtainable within six months of hire.
- Experience in traffic analysis software, problem-solving, decision-making, staff training, communication, public speaking, negotiation, organizational awareness, and adaptability.
- Thorough knowledge of traffic analysis software, traffic engineering principles, design, installation, maintenance, geometric and trigonometric formulas.
- Experience in contract and consultant management, traffic signal operational software, team leadership, prioritization, problem analysis and resolution, customer service, interpersonal skills, and statewide travel.
- Advanced knowledge of design, installation, and maintenance specifications.
- Experience in establishing and conducting training programs.
