    TheFront Climbing Club was Utah's first indoor

    rock-climbing

    gym, and one of the first in the nation.

    The Front Climbing Clubs are lifestyle gyms that include, Cafes, Yoga, Group fitness, beautiful recreational areas and more

    ou will split your time between it and its sister company, Vertical Solutions.

    Vertical Solutions is the largest domestic climbing wall builder and offers everything needed to get climbers off the ground - walls, holds and pads.

    Responsibilities

    Oversee

    & work

    in the day-to-day accounting operations includin


    g:
    accounts payable and receivable
    payroll
    calculat

    e

    and record

    depreciation
    general ledger maintenance
    Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy

    .
    Collaborate closely with

    ownership

    to develop and

    maintain

    financial budgets, forecasts, and business plans that align with th

    e

    companies'

    unique vision and goals.
    Analyze financial data,

    identifying

    trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth

    .
    Assist

    in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls

    .
    Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and

    provide

    recommendations to

    optimize

    financial resources

    .
    Prepare and review

    sales and use

    tax filings, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
    Provide

    financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making

    .
    Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development within the entrepreneurial setting

    .
    Oversee month close and year end activities.

    REQUIREMENTS
    /

    /
    Bachelor's degree in accounting

    , Finance, or a related field.
    4

    -5

    year's experience

    as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment.
    Proven experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, with a strong background in job costing for construction projects.
    In-depth knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices, including job costing methodologies.
    2+ years of QuickBooks Experience

    .
    Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP).
    Proficient in using accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up environment.
    Strong communication

    and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

    Demonstrated ability to provide strategic financial guidance and support to entrepreneurs.
