Hybrid: 2 Days WFH

$115k - $125k

The

Senior Automation Accountant

reports to the Assistant Controller and collaborates with senior leadership and multiple departments.

This role will

lead automation operations

in accounting and processing connected to wholesale and retail operations; accounts payable, billing, conversions reconciliations, inventory accounting & physical inventory reporting, as well as, technical accounting, G/L Accounting, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the configuration and implementation of automation

throughout the operational accounting transaction cycle with Microsoft AI, Power BI, and Service Now software

Partner with colleagues within the Accounting Department to

configure software automation

Oversee accounting close cycle for operational accounting and implement improvements to decrease time to report and increase quality of results

Review and improve the balance sheet review

Prepare and submit periodic reporting to leadership on status of projects

Collaborate with members of the Controllership Leadership Team and business leaders

Develop and present ad hoc analytical requests

Participate in day-to-day operations of operational accounting department and financial reporting

Drive completion of operational accounting's month, quarter, and year-end closing process

Respond with accurate documentation to requests from external auditors for annual audits and reviews

Deliver meaningful insights via data analysis and collaboration throughout budgeting and forecasting process

Design and implement repeatable standardized processes that are sustainable and scalable

Ensure and improve compliance with policies related to areas of responsibility

QUALIFICATIONS
BA in Accounting

3 – 7 Years Experience Automating Processes

5+ Years Experience in Accounting

Experience Implementing Automation Tools Such as: (Service Now, Microsoft AI, SQL, Blackline, Smartsheet, etc)

Ability to Reduce Close Days + Improve Results

GL Functions + Month/Quarter/Year End Close
