- High school diploma or its equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in administration of employee benefits; multistate experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable navigating through FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, and other benefit related regulations
- Ability to work with other employees and provide customer focused support for field agencies
- Ability to prioritize work responsibilities efficiently and consistently
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer literacy. We strongly encourage experience with pivot tables and vlookup formulas in Excel.

- Effectively administer all aspects of Company's benefit program, TPAs and vendors, including retirement, all related health benefit plans, health savings accounts, COBRA, FMLA/Non FMLA LOA, and workplace injury plans.
- Document and manage all employee communications, payroll and benefits related to LOA and Workers Compensation proactively, timely and professionally.
- Responsible for proactive and timely communications between sites and employee when on leave.
- Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
- Support our TPA for administration, implementation, and monitoring of benefits and compensation policies, procedures, practices, and programs.
- Create health program related emails & marketing tools along with roll out of new health and welfare plans.
- Keep assigned health insurance and 401k plans in full compliance with benefit and plan regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Provide resolution of complaints, questions and concerns from active, terminated and retired employees and outside sources regarding benefit plans, claims and benefit related company policies or procedures. This can include VOE, claim or balance bill review along with communication to our TPA and vendors to assist employees resolving any benefit issue.
- Create data upload files from outsourced vendor files and maintain current benefit deductions in ADP workforce now. Provide ADP Workforce now reports to our TPA to coordinate the maintenance of employees and ensure the timely, accurate processing of additions, changes and terminations. This includes all payroll upload files for 401k, insurance, HSA and any other benefit programs.
- Perform all aspects of benefit plan audits. Responsible for completing compliance filings for various federal, state, and local entities including but not limited to annual 401(K) audit with nondiscrimination testing, all remittance schedules, semimonthly payroll benefit audits, review auditor results for 5500 filings, create ACA 1095C filings, etc.
- Oversee TPA & vendors for workers compensation and LOA open or closed claims. Responsible for coordination as needed with employees and our vendors along with reconciling and providing timely updates of data changes in our payroll system.
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
