    Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Benefits Communication Specialist supporting our Plano, TX team

    The Benefits Communication Specialist is responsible for a broad variety of support services for internal and external customers.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Intermediate design and updates to client benefit guides, client presentations, and client communications.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign.
  • Intake/Recording of Team Projects.
  • Produce appropriate graphical assets for multi-channel experience.
  • Participate in user research and testing to continually search for ways to improve user experience of our client supplied software/apps.
  • Participate in client and prospective client presentations.
  • RFP response support.
  • Assist in communication team strategy.
  • Oversee the development of animated videos utilizing a committee where needed for content creation.
  • Use animation software, voiceover software and video hosting sites, consistently seeking ways to improve efficiency and output
  • Work closely with communications coordinator for project flow assistance.
  • Work closely with project manager to establish accurate timelines.
  • App and flipbook building; pull utilization reports and file accordingly.
  • Occasionally review presentations for consistency and branding.
  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 2+ years related work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Strong visual design skills, understanding latest trends in color, layout and typography.
  • Strong knowledge of visual design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Ominigraffle, Axure, etc.
  • Mobile app design experience (iOS and/or Android) preferred.
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor and customer service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, iterate on designs, and being open to constructive feedback.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
