The "Optimization" group within the Analytics department focuses on using mathematical optimization techniques (such as linear, mixed-integer, stochastic, or robust optimization) to assist in planning and controlling logistical and industrial processes along the supply chain.

In this role, you will support us in various data analytics projects, such as "HerzKISO" for optimized defibrillator placement and "Optimization of Tea Blending," by assisting with modeling, implementation, and evaluation.

You will also be responsible for data collection and processing, as well as conducting research for our diverse research and industry projects.

To be successful in this role, you should be a student in a degree program with a focus on data-driven fields, such as business mathematics, mathematics, statistics, business informatics, computer science, or data science.

You should also have a strong understanding of mathematics, particularly in the area of mathematical optimization, and experience with the programming language Python.

Additionally, you should be able to work independently, thoroughly, and show self-initiative.
