    POSITION SUMMARY

    The position is primarily responsible for the following duties: Maintaining status of work orders on the production floor for both the flavoring line and teardown. Creation of all sub work orders. The Operations Specialist will also be responsible for communicating, tracking and delivering shortages to the production floor and stake holders and will be responsible for investigating work order discrepancies. Ensure material returned from work orders is stocked and pronto transactions completed. Provide timely communication to all relevant departments.

    Will be responsible to plan materials in line our with MRP system requirements. In this role, the individual will monitor and track top running items across all necessary warehouses to ensure forecasting system models are maintained using gathered data from the MRP system, as well as other sources i.e., customer, service and supplier data. Gathering and sharing appropriate information and ensuring targets are met and procedures are always followed.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Assist Manufacturing in the coordination and maintenance of product line workstations for each product
    • Maintain floor replenishments as needed to maintain production efficiency
    • Assist Manufacturing and Purchasing with tracking of materials, and shortages based on the production schedules, work orders on the production floor, from start to finish
    • Ownership of shortages from beginning to end
    • Responsible to maintain shortage reporting
    • Responsible for deliveries of shortages to the floor as soon as product arrives
    • Tracking all work order discrepancies and providing resolution.
    • Responsible to track and investigate all material being returned from work orders
    • Provide backup work order support
    • Perform random inventory audits
    • Research inventory discrepancies
    • Complete physical inventories cycle counts
    • Maintain and track VMI consignment inventory through MRP and complete pronto transactions.
    • Responsible for Disposition of RMA (blue tag) no conformant items
    • Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement practices, safety policies, and promotes workplace safety and environmental practices.
    • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and maintain department files of shipments in and out.
    • Performs any other duties as assigned.
    • Maintains excellent attention to detail, meticulous record keeping and organizational skills.

    PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Demonstrates the ability to pay very close attention to detail and immediately notice any discrepancies regarding inventory
    • Experience with production flows
    • Demonstrates the ability to solve problems individually and quickly
    • Must be able to communicate well with others in order to implement inventory control plans
    • Experienced with work orders
    • Experienced working in an MRP environment
    • Experience with receiving.
    • Experience with cycle counts.
    • Experienced with inventory management
    • Experienced with technical document reading
    • Independent self-starter with positive attitude
    • Previous gaming experience
    • Forklift experience
    • Must be proficient in MS office – including email – excel

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma plus 5 to 10 years manufacturing environment.
    • Experienced working in an ERP environment
    • Must have excellent communication skills
    • Must be proficient in MS office – Outlook – Excel
    • Must have excellent multi-tasking skills and experience in fast paced environment

    Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License and have a good driving record and be able to lift 50 lbs.
