    Description

    Lead the implementation and facilitation of continuous improvement activities to enhance company functions' productivity and efficiency. Evaluate work processes and develop strategies and programs to drive long-term sustainability and success.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Spearhead critical continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring their successful implementation and long-term viability.

    Drive key project outcomes by either leading or mentoring project teams.

    Employ advanced problem-solving methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean to achieve project objectives.

    Provide formal and informal training and mentorship on best practices to fellow employees.

    Collaborate with operations to identify and disseminate best practices and improvement opportunities.

    Assess current work processes to optimize workflow, time, costs, and duration.

    Develop and implement strategies and programs to enhance company-wide productivity and efficiency.

    Utilize industrial engineering techniques to evaluate and improve recommended strategies.

    Establish and manage recognition programs for individuals and teams contributing to process improvement.

    Facilitate employee teams to foster cohesion and enhance task outcomes.

    Act as the primary contact for Plant Process Engineers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

    Develop and integrate Critical-to-Yield (CTY) processes and connections with Business Operating Systems (BOS).

    Coordinate improvement efforts to enhance yield across plants and value streams.

    Define and execute appropriate processes for yield improvement, utilizing various project methodologies such as A3, Green Belt, or Black Belt projects.

    Competencies:

    Analytical: Synthesize complex information, design workflows, and procedures.

    Design: Generate creative solutions, apply design principles with attention to detail.

    Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems, develop alternative solutions using reason and data.

    Project Management: Develop project plans, coordinate activities, and manage project teams.

    Technical Skills: Utilize data-driven problem-solving tools like Six Sigma, Design of Experiments, and Lean concepts.

    Interpersonal Skills: Remain open to new ideas and collaborate effectively.

    Oral and Written Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written formats.

    Teamwork: Balance team and individual responsibilities, contribute to a positive team dynamic.

    Safety and Security: Observe safety procedures and take appropriate actions to ensure security.

    Skills and Abilities:

    Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents and regulations.

    Strong mathematical skills including probability, statistics, and geometry.

    Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.

    Proficient in computer literacy, including email and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Work Environment:

    Moderate noise level with occasional exposure to loud manufacturing environments.

    Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.

    Physical Demands:

    Regularly requires sitting and occasional standing, walking, and lifting.

    Ability to use hands for handling objects and close vision for detailed tasks.
