Your main tasks:

  • You will process and manage building planning procedures and develop urban planning regulations.
  • In a team, you will develop informal plans, framework plans, and urban designs and contribute to city-wide planning by creating studies and concepts on various topics (e.g. retail concept).
  • You will prepare statements on your own projects and projects of other planning levels (e.g. neighboring municipalities, state and regional planning) and present them to the public (e.g. council, municipal committees, citizens, state authorities).
  • To involve and inform citizens and politics in planning processes, you will conduct information events and present your projects in political committees.
  • You will carry out procurement procedures and commission engineering services to external offices.

We expect:

  • You have a degree in urban planning, city or regional planning, or architecture with a focus on urban planning.
  • You have a solid understanding of building planning law.
  • You have relevant professional experience in an urban planning office or in municipal service in the field of building planning/urban planning.
  • You have good computer skills (MS Office). Knowledge of CAD and GIS programs is an advantage.
  • You have a creative spatial thinking and imagination, which you can use in design development.
