    The Outside Parts Salesperson solicits business from assigned territory by developing and maintaining customer contacts and generating potential new business contacts, would spend more than 50% of time outside the office engaging in the selling of parts.


    Other responsibilities will require for you to:
    Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of VVG products and pricingIdentify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new businessVisit assigned customersProspect new customersCommunicate parts orders to inside parts salespeopleMeet or exceed new business sales goalsComplete prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointments with decision makersSchedule and document activitiesPrepare and draft sales documentation and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordinglyRegularly meet with sales supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective customersAdvise parts people of any special needsFollow up on parts order to ensure parts department is meeting or exceeding their needsAct as public relations liaison for VVGCustomer Service ResponsibilitiesResolve customer complaints and provides conflict resolution to customersVisit customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relationsSkills and QualificationsFive (5) or more years of experience in service or parts departments of truckingindustryAbility to maintain professional appearanceMust exhibit leadership qualitiesMust exhibit teamwork qualitiesShow InitiativeCompensation100% Commission
